City of Edmonton - Goldbar Wastewater Treatment Plant

Located on the city's eastern outskirts on the south bank of the North Saskatchewan River, the Gold Bar Wastewater Treatment Plant handles the wastewater requirements for over 820,000 people in the greater Edmonton area.  This production focused on how the facility is using innovative techniques to be one of the top wastewater treatment plants in the world.  This feature appeared on a television show produced and broadcast throughout Alberta and is utilized by the City of Edmonton for promotional purposes.  This feature was a finalist for “Best Industrial Production” with the Alberta Motion Picture Industry Association (AMPIA) for 2008.
