Government of Alberta: Green Certificate Program

The Green Certificate Program is an apprenticeship style training program focussed on eight specialties.  The program ensures that participants learn through actively performing the daily tasks required to run a successful agriculture business.   

The overall project included end to end production of three DVD’s which took the everyday text book and turned them into interactive resources which integrated video, audio, Flash, testing, DVD design and replication. The DVD’s walk a student through the different components of the process of three main areas: tester/trainer/ orientation and beef value chain.  These tasks and the various experiences were demonstrated utilizing new and existing footage combined with onscreen text and graphics, captured during a fourteen day shoot.

This short promotional video utilizing clips from the three productions to demonstrate the program for teachers, trainers and students was distributed throughout the rural Alberta school system.
